Therapy for Moms of Neurodivergent Kids

Grounded, specialized 1-on-1 therapy to ease chronic anxiety, regulate your nervous system, and rewire self-doubt

When you are raising a neurodivergent child (ADHD, Autism, sensory processing differences), the daily stress can quietly take over your life. You might find yourself living in a state of high alert, constantly bracing for the next sensory meltdown, public conflict, or tense IEP meeting. Between managing school accommodations, therapy schedules, and home dynamics, it is easy to feel emotionally drained and quietly consumed by thoughts like "I'm not doing enough" or "I'm failing my child."

I am here to be your therapist, not a parenting coach. I don't give parenting advice, assign home strategies, or tell you how to raise your child. Instead, I focus entirely on you: your mental health, your nervous system, and your emotional relief.

A Dedicated Space for Your Healing

You give so much energy to supporting your family that your own internal well-being often gets pushed to the background. In our work together, we focus on helping you:

    •    Rewire Negative Beliefs: Process and release deeply ingrained negative cognitions like "I'm a failure," "It's my fault," or "I'm never enough."

    •    Regulate Your Nervous System: Shift out of fight-or-flight mode so you feel more grounded, steady, and resilient in your daily life.

    •    Reduce Chronic Anxiety: Ease constant worry and mental exhaustion so your days feel more manageable and peaceful.

    •    Show Up Grounded: Build internal calm so you can stay anchored for yourself, present for your neurodivergent child, and confident during high-stress IEP meetings.

How We Work Together: Root-Cause Healing with EMDR & IFS

Rather than focusing on surface-level coping tips, I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you process stress at a deeper neural level.

EMDR helps desensitize the intense emotional charge attached to distressing parenting moments, school meetings, or past burnout. By working directly with how your brain stores stress and self-critical beliefs, EMDR helps you replace old patterns of anxiety and self-doubt with a strong, grounded sense of self-worth and calm capability.
